Cultural Counselor Ibtisam Al-Shater attends the closing of the 6th Conference of Yemeni Students in Turkey and emphasizes the Embassy’s support for youth
The Cultural Counselor at the Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in Ankara, Ibtisam Al-Shater, participated in the closing activities of the 6th Conference of the General Union of Yemeni Students in Turkey, which was held in Kocaeli from May 19 to 21.
Counselor Al-Shater’s participation reflected the Cultural Section’s keenness to be directly present to support student initiatives, as she followed the conference events attended by over 180 students from various Turkish cities, aimed at enhancing institutional work and developing leadership skills among Yemeni students abroad.
During the event, Counselor Al-Shater conveyed the Embassy’s interest in overcoming difficulties facing students, confirming that the Cultural Section works continuously to be an effective link that serves the students’ academic and national aspirations.
For his part, Ambassador Mohammed Saleh Tareq participated in the closing ceremony, delivering a speech in which he congratulated students on the 36th National Day of the Yemeni Republic, praising the efforts of the Cultural Section, led by Counselor Al-Shater, in following up on student affairs. The Ambassador also emphasized the importance of students adhering to their national identity, calling on them to be the best ambassadors for Yemen through their scientific excellence.
The event concluded by honoring the former administrative body of the Union and congratulating the newly elected one, as Counselor Al-Shater and Ambassador Tareq reiterated that the Embassy will remain a key supporter of everything that serves the interest of Yemeni students in Turkey.
